Are your motors compatible with wifi/ smart enabled?

Yes, Proteco has recently launched its proprietary app. Whilst most providers use 3rd party modules that are generic or after market, Proteco is one of the only manufacturers to have have developed their own, ensuring seamless compatibility, security and reliability

What brand of gate motors do you supply?

For the last 30 years, we have worked exclusively with Proteco Gate Automation systems. We are the distributors for the Caribbean and import directly for Italy.

Proteco is known for its high-quality, professional-grade equipment, completely manufactured in Italy.

How long does an installation take?

Each installation is different, but most can be done in 6-8 hrs

Scheduling for an installation can be done within 2-3 days of request of such.

How long should my gate motor last?

A reasonable expectation would be 12-15 years. We’ve had some of our systems last up to 20 years!

Although within that time we expect repairs/parts to be replaced be required. As the distributors for Proteco for the last 20 years and the only motor we’ve used for the last 30 years, we always have stock of these parts.

How long do remotes last?

Once handled properly, remotes should last 3-4 years.

Batteries should be changed every 9-12 months. The battery type used is A23.

What are the range of remote transmitters?

Remotes have a range of 60-80 feet but can go to 150 feet line of sight range.

Additional external receivers are available, which can boost signals to 300+ feet.
